So this week I was supposed to do a shoot at a Photography Cafe with my gorgeous friend Raven L’amore; but alas the dreaded Lurgi has infected her. So the owner of the cafe arranged another model at short notice. A beautiful blond lass called Beth, who does 50’s Pin-up brilliantly.
After finding my best image of 2016, with that image of the Canal in Birmingham city centre; I am now Trying to find my best image of 2017. It’s amazing how much portrait photography I have done this year with some very beautiful ladies, and how little Public Transport and Landscape/Urban i’ve done this year. I’ve therefore selected the five images I like the best and if anyone would like to express an opinion, i’m all ears.
Had a really fun time at the weekend shooting with a group of Goth Models wearing some beautiful outfits, & accessories. Would love to show them all, but I don’t want to bore you all.
I love Goth Girls, there, i’ve admitted to it. Whether it be fictional characters like Abby Sciuto in NCIS, or films like Underworld, & my own growing up hanging around in Graveyards as a teenager, there is something about these wonderful ladies and their striking beauty.
Friday night I meet up with my Photography group for a shoot around Birmingham city centre, doing some basic and a little bit of slow shutter speed (I need a lighter tripod that humping around my sturdy one).
And then today I got an access all areas admission to Birmingham’s symphony hall for Instagram Birmingham
During my free time lately I have been lurking around the University of Birmingham; with is mixture of Red Brick Victorian building to very modern 21st Century building, in-between you have the Brutalist 1960’s architecture of Muirhead Tower, a 16 story building standing like a sentinel over the campus.
